We are sad to announce the death of Harold "Hal" Bergen, father of JRC member Kathy Bergen (John Raffetto), and grandfather of Michael. Hal died on March 10 at the age of 97. A funeral will be held at 10am Sunday, March 16 at Chicago Jewish Funerals. Details about shiva, which will be held on March 16th and 17th can be found in your JRC email.
We are also sad to announce the death of Bernard (Bernie) Wilson, beloved father of JRC member Jennifer Bonner (Aaron), father-in-law of JRC Operations Director Leslie Brown (Marc Wilson) and proud grandfather of Jacob, Mahalia, and Quincy. Bernie died Tuesday, March 11 at the age of 86. A Service, followed by Shiva, will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 at Chicago Jewish Funerals
And we are sad to announce the death of Tim Welense, father of JRC member Bill Welense (Bonnie Rosenberg), grandfather of Elliot. Lance Coporal Timothy E. Welense died on March 7. A funeral was held in Michigan.
