Prince of Egypt Passover Performance Sunday, April 6, 3:00–4:30 pm At JRC, 303 Dodge Avenue, Evanston Join Stages Chicago in the musical retelling of the Book of Exodus with the Prince of Egypt. We meet Moses just as he discovers his roots as a Jewish slave, and he embarks on a quest to free his people from bondage. When his plea is denied by his brother Rameses, a series of plagues strike Egypt. Moses finally leads the Israelites to freedom and the promised land. The 45-minute performance will be followed by an opportunity to create Passover-themed art and schmooze with other families. Doors open at 3:00 pm.
This event is perfect for families with young children, geared towards children 6 and under. The performance is interactive and engaging, using the iconic Prince of Egypt music to bring the Passover story to life in a way that’s geared towards young children!
