Our High Holiday youth program is for children Kindergarten–12th grade. It will take place on Rosh Hashanah (Thursday, October 3) and Yom Kippur (Saturday, October 12) during the sanctuary service, 10:00 am–1:00 pm, at First United Methodist Church, JRC's home for the High Holidays. 

This quick signup will help us plan and staff the program adequately so we can have a meaningful experience and help your child best thrive!

The program will include a child-appropriate service and a range of activities. Please bring a labeled bag lunch and water bottle for your child on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. (If those beyond b'nai mitzvah age choose to fast on Yom Kippur, they may of course do so!)

For teens: 7th-12th graders will be with the full group most of the morning and are expected to help with the younger children or be in a designated teen space. They will have a separate teen program with Director of Education Lauren Reeves, 11:45 am - 12:45 pm. The church is not allowing teens to be in undesignated spaces for safety purposes.

Checking in and out: To best keep children safe during the program, they will need to wear our youth program name tags and those under 6th grade will need to check in and check out.
